In 2021 I had an opportunity to be part of the revolutionary project of Dubai Municipality, which is known as the BIM E submission platform. To reach more people and make them aware of the benefit of this system, Dubai Municipality decided to give a holographic experience to the citizens of Dubai at the World’s Largest Enterprise & Government Technology Event – Gitex Global 2021.
Alongside my team from Ortmor agency, we’ve come up with the complete visualization of the BIM technology. Here the user can select the model and upload it using the touch screen provided. When the user manually rotates the model with a touch screen, the corresponding hologram model also rotates. Otherwise, it auto-rotates itself. Along with the building model, we made it in a way that the details also be displayed on the hologram screen. We’ve shown the analysis process and the result presented in a way that can be understood easily by the public.
